Adriane J. Dudley, a practicing attorney for more than twenty years, and in private practice in the Virgin Islands since 1978, established the firm in November 1985. Six years later, Bennett Chan became a partner of the firm.  The firm is comprised of two partners, several attorneys, paralegals and other related support staff. The firm concentrates in civil litigation, commercial and administrative law, labor and employment law, real estate, banking, business management matters, arbitration and mediation. Attorneys in the Litigation Department handle a wide range of corporate defense issues, including commercial, employment, insurance and personal injury, product liability and medical malpractice. The Litigation Department includes attorneys who are certified mediators and available to aid in dispute resolution. Dudley Clark & Chan is retained by businesses and organizations to render legal opinions and lobby regarding proposed legislation. Clients are businesses and institutions in both the private and public sectors that engage in retail, commercial, banking, light industrial and service endeavors. Clients range from small local businesses to multinational corporations.
